[Talk-gb-westmidlands] Albert Street
While going into the city on the train last evening I spotted that Albert street and parts of the roads that connect to it (Fox Street, Grosvenor Street, Bartholomew Stree) have been closed off while the do redevelopment work I guess in the two plots of land straddling Albert Street. I didn't get enough details to map it properly. Needs a ground survey if anyone is in the area soon? They have also started work on constructing another building or car park to the east of Millennium Point. http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=52.481714&lon=-1.887519&zoom=18&layers=M Cheers Andy ___ Talk-gb-westmidlands mailing list Talk-gb-westmidlands@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb-westmidlands

Appears to be the permanent closure for construction of the new City Park, part of the east side regeneration: http://www.thinktank.ac/core/core_picker/download.asp?id=3313 Cheers Andy >-Original Message- >From: Andy Robinson (blackadder-lists) [mailto:ajrli...@gmail.com] >Sent: 01 September 2011 11:45 AM >To: Talk-gb-westmidlands@openstreetmap.org >Subject: Albert Street > >While going into the city on the train last evening I spotted that Albert >street and parts of the roads that connect to it (Fox Street, Grosvenor >Street, Bartholomew Stree) have been closed off while the do >redevelopment >work I guess in the two plots of land straddling Albert Street. Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] Albert Street
Was in town this morning briefly so took a drive around the Birmingham East side area and have now edited the latest road closures and added the new construction activities. I also added the construction of the new Aston Uni Engineering academy at cornet of Dartmouth/Lister and changed a number of areas to Brownfield. This whole area probably needs a full resurvey every few 6 months or less to catch all the changes that are going on.
