Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] River Rea, West of Kings Norton Park
Thanks; I got to this: https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=17=52.4102=-1.9427=10=osm and it seems that it may be the original river course, since altered around the reservoir/ dam. You could try looking at historic maps on National Library of Scotland's online map portal to see if you can find a name. Done; but is it a river, or a stream? And does it have its own name? delete the name on the tributary should do the trick On Sat, Apr 27, 2019 at 12:05 PM Andy Mabbett wrote: > Compare the tagging on: > >https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/34080550 > > and: > > https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/591479120 > > and ways upstream (west) of the latter. > > I think the former is a tributary, and the latter is the river proper. > What needs to be changed? > > -- > Andy Mabbett > @pigsonthewing > http://pigsonthewing.org.uk > > ___ > Talk-gb-westmidlands mailing list > Talk-gb-westmidlands@openstreetmap.org > https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb-westmidlands > ___ Talk-gb-westmidlands mailing list Talk-gb-westmidlands@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb-westmidlands
[Talk-gb-westmidlands] River Rea, West of Kings Norton Park
Compare the tagging on: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/34080550 and: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/591479120 and ways upstream (west) of the latter. I think the former is a tributary, and the latter is the river proper.
