2016-02-20 Thread david williams
Hi Brian,

If possible I would like to get a copy of some for part of South Tipperary
namely;
Cahir town and surrounds
Clogheen and surrounding
townslands in particular Castlegrace (Duhill maybe down as Tullaghorton),
Tubrid, Ballynomasna/Ballylomasna

Kind regards,
David

[OSM-talk-ie] OSM / townlands.ie metadata

2016-02-20 Thread Killian Driscoll
I am using a copy of the townlands and counties layers downloaded from
http://www.townlands.ie/page/download/ in a database, and I need a list of
the metadata for the layers' columns, (i.e. the metadata meaning an
explanation of each column heading). Where can I find that?

Thanks,

Hi Brian,

I would be interested in getting a copy of anything around
Graigue/Modeshill, Mullinahone, Co. Tipp. It is where my dad is from.

Cheers
John

[OSM-talk-ie] Out of Copyright OS paper maps Limerick and Tipperary

2016-02-20 Thread Brian Hollinshead
I have a quantity of Out of Copyright OS maps , mostly 1912/1955, 6 inch as
well as 25 and 60 inch. These were donated to OSM Ireland by various
interests for us to bleed them dry of detail we need and then offer them on
to National and Local County Libraries. ( Both Limerick and Tipperary are
keenly interested)

After those which the Trinity College Map Library has gladly taken, I have
about 100 of Limerick and a couple of hundred of Tipperary. If any of you
would like to use these prior to them going to the Libraries please reply
by next Wednesday.

Thanks to Blueprint Reprographics in Stillorgan I have managed to scan
strictly for OSMIE use about 15 for Limerick and about 70 for Tipperary. A
mixture of 6inch and 25 inch where there is a town etc. If you are interest
in getting the scans please contact me..

In either case please reply to this mail, so others may see your interest
and also directly to brian (at) hollinshead (dot) net

Perhaps some of those who have used these for other counties might add to
this post an idea of the most help and best use they found for these.
