Colm, Thanks for this. I touched on this with regard www.stayingopen.ie and recognised that more documentation / clarity on tagging could be useful.
In Ireland, we're kind of bad with naming (there's always the official name and the "local" name(s)!!). Specifically, clarity on what should be entered for name, brand, operator, owner and branch. I think the wiki actually does a relatively OK job of setting expectations but mappers may not always be aware of how a business is operating. Is it a franchise or just a business with multiple locations? Comments and thoughts welcome!
