it is not by us guys - it is by the CDAC wing of NRC-FOSS, nothing to do with
us

Re: [Talk-in] DirectUpload Plugin for JOSM

2009-03-02 Thread PlaneMad
the ui is as simple as it can be and perfect. it would be great if i can
upload multiple gpx traces that are opened in one go instead of doing it one
by one. also what about adding dummy timestamps for traces without them? i
have been uploading tracks from a local trekking group but they do not have
the tag and it gets rejected by the server.

Its the RAW NMEA log. Programs like GPSBABEL can translate(convert)
NMEA logs to gpx logs.
So all you need to do is download this program, and then convert your
log(usually a .bin file) to gpx

Hi List,
I got an Amod AGL3080 GPS Data Logger

http://www.semsons.com/amaggpsdalos.html

How can I use this data logger to put up data onto openstreetmap?

I did install josm and also also installed wmsplugin

The only issue is that I keep getting that its an invalid extension .log

Apparently the device saves files in .log extension.

Opened a random .log file and it shows data as below :-

Please lemme know how can I upload these .log files so they are
helpful in making maps for openstreetmap

Thank you for your patience.

Will be much simpler, if had same OS and same version.

Wiki page will be great contribution for public.

If you work con console, then "history" command give you all commands
you issued, and is good for such documentation, if good document is
not already there on Internet.

Again congratulations, and all the best for server experience :-)
