Re: [Talk-in] Need guidance in launching a HOT project in Bangalore for mapping the lakes

You must not use Google Maps for mapping in OpenStreetMap.

You must not use maps on incompatible licences for
mapping in OSM.

Any such edit must be reverted and purged.

Re: [Talk-in] Mapping Water ATM's

2020-11-16 Thread Mateusz Konieczny via Talk-in

amenity=vending_machine
vending=water

is a potential alternative tagging
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dvending_machine

amenity=water_point seems for larger scale
"Water ATM located at Jayanagar dispenses around 6000 litres daily"
and article has people with just some large bottles while
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dwater_point
describes it as
"you can get larger amounts of "drinking water" for filling a fresh water
holding tank, such as found on caravans, RVs and boats."

[Talk-in] Fixing wikipedia link for State Bank of India - proposed mechanical edit

2019-10-30 Thread Mateusz Konieczny
I propose to change

wikipedia=en:State Bank of India

into

brand:wikipedia=en:State Bank of India

as second variant is correct while first is not.

More details at
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mechanical_Edits/Mateusz_Konieczny_-_bot_account/fixing_State_Bank_of_India_wikipedia_links

I know that most of community is at Telegram channel - I will post also there.

Please comment if you have any questions not explained by documentation or if
you are
either opposing or supporting this edit for any reason (you can do this also at
Telegram, I
will post also there)
