Re: [Talk-GB] Master City: Let's play with OpenStreetMap
Dear all, following some specific requests. I just released country versions for United Kingdom and Spain too: - Master City UK (http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.danelli.mario.mastercity.uk) - Master City EspaƱa (http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.danelli.mario.mastercity.spain) Last months I released other versions: - Master City Italia - Master City France - Master City USA - Master City Deutschland As the others country versions each version has more than 1000 cities, more detailed zoom levels and a bonus level. Would you like other country versions? Let me know! I highly recommend you let me know if there are improvements (obviously) and such. In addition to the game itself I think can also be useful to know OpenStreetMap for people of all ages (from 10 up can also be used as an exercise in geography). Obviously in the OpenStreetMap spirit the game is completely free and without ads. Thanks again to all who in recent years have been mapped and those who have just begun. Re: [Talk-ca] Master City: Let's play with OpenStreetMap
Dear Fabian, Has this been released as free open source software ? I just developed app versions for single countries (at the moment Italy, Germany and France) with more cities (about 1000 for every country), more detailed zoom level and a bonus level (very difficult). I'll publish this versions of the app the next week. I think could be interesting to release this version (one of three) as base source that everyboy can enhance and customize with proper data/tiles for a specific country. In case which are the sources that I have to share? With which license? Must I have to sign the sources (with a specific header or others)? Please, explain me in detail my rights/constraints? Thanks. I'm installing it now. I added it to the Games wiki page. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Games#Games_using_OpenStreetMap_data On 23 February 2013 15:06, Mario Danelli mario.dane...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, thanks to OpenStreetMap and his team I have just released a new application, currently only for Android but if it hasa bit of success I have already set the output on the iPhone and iPad, called Master City. Hi Mario, this sounds like a neat idea for place discovery. It would be nice if I could learn a little more about the place as well like wikipedia articles.
