A low quality import in Mestre was reported on #osm

Hi Richard,
I'm Giuliano, (bellazambo user).
The edits are part of an import project that we are doing in Veneto. We
are importing free data delivered from the Veneto Region.
The import will take several month because there are a lot of data
(building, river, vegetation data, etc...), they have to be converted
and verified and there are not so much osmer involved.
We decided to avoid an unique mass import and we are working piece by
piece (during our free time).
In particular I imported Mestre but I'm not the only one which work on
that. The agreement is that each osmer import a little piece around
where he lives, than he will verify errors with the helkp of all the
others osmers.
In the last few months I don't have any free time to go on with on OSM
(previous import corrections, standard edits and new imports).
I'm sorry but I have to leave, I don't have time to search an attach you
all the links regarding this imports.
I wish that some other osmer involved will do that and explain you this
project in the details.
Bye
Giuliano
PS per i colleghi veneti: qualcuno potrebbe cortesemente aggiungergli i
link e, se ha piacere, spiegare meglio il progetto?
Grazie
Giuliano
