2010-10-11 Thread maning sambale
Found this news on Sorbi's news blog:
http://www.geomanila.com/2010/09/digital-topographic-mapping-of-mindanao.html

Finally, our half-a-century old topo maps will be updated.

Re: [talk-ph] C6

2010-10-11 Thread tutubi
Hi Eugene,

It think it's not the whole stretch, but just a portion of it. I saw
pictures of the dirt taken my motorcycle riders (and thus expect only
"track" label in OSM).

C6 also seem to have no link to Eusebio road then Ejercito to get to the
floodway and the map also has something like a subdivision but seems
to-scary-to-be-true road network.

If there's a link there I could have taken the route to get to Quezon avenue
in taguig rather than C5-east service road- paulino santos.

I would love to pass by one of these days. I'm searching for an old
lighthouse in Napindan to explore in the future.

thanks

You mean this? http://osm.org/go/4zhDbNC6--

The whole stretch up to the Taguig-Taytay boundary is already in OSM
for some time now. :-)
