Yes, Pierre. It can be extended via plugins - but they're made part of the
core and can only be integrated via pull requests.

annoying. :/
I agree with you about OsmAnd's having *too many* features - but I'm not 
complaining. The good news is that the new UI is way better than the old one, 
and more intuitive.
