Re: [Talk-us] JOSM - WMS plugin broken in latest release?
Mike, Since you're on windows, close JOSM, go to %appdata%\josm\plugins\wmsplugin (copy that into the run command) and backup any custom wms servers you may have in mirror_sources.cfg, then delete that file and restart josm. Yahoo! imagery still probably won't work at very high zooms (in my experience on windows with the newer JOSM/WMSplugin) but it should now show up as Yahoo Sat and the source should no longer be yahoo: but html: On Thu, Jul 9, 2009 at 10:44 AM, mike.oni...@juno.com mike.oni...@juno.comwrote: Is anyone else having trouble getting Yahoo imagery through the WMS plugin in the latest JOSM release? Every time I add the default, it disappears from the list when I hit OK in the WMS preferences. The problem is still there in the 1755 release. I'm pretty sure my webkit-image executable and .dll's are in the right place (I even tried using the path method described in the wiki). I saw some different bug trackers, but didn't see one specifically describing my problem. Just checking if this is a dumb user problem (me!) or if this is a break in the plugin that needs to be fixed. On a related note, does anyone know how to roll plugins back to a previous release? I'd like to go back to the 1669 stable release, but all the plugins want newer versions. Thanks -Mike Save on a home Heating and Cooling System. However, the node at the south (dead) end of the road has the same TLIDs (144674357:144674376:144986081) instead of just 357. It looks like you found a genuine bug in the way I stored the tlids. Lemme see if I can track it down and figure out how to work around it. Man, this was a crappy bug. Basically I used a reference when I should have used a copy of each node's tags. This causes all nodes that are created as part of a feature to share a copy of tags. Any nodes that were created as part of older features will have the new tags merged into them. But *all* of the nodes that were part of the older feature are inadvertently modified. Urg. It *is* fixable to some degree. I can re-run the generation scripts and remove the superfluous TLIDs from the nodes. But, that's going to be quite a bit of work. I probably need to think about better solutions than that. -- Dave ___ Talk-us mailing list Talk-us@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us

Anyone know why this is, and what can be done about it? The imagery available in Potlatch, supposedly from the same source, is better at higher zooms. I found the info about using the Terraserver source instead, but this only works in a limited area (though the imagery is much better than Yahoo). -- Alan Mintz alan_mintz+...@earthlink.net ___ Talk-us mailing list Talk-us@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us
