[Talk-us] python validation tools for OSM data?

Hey guys,

I wonder if anyone knows of some python code to perform validations on
OSM data.  I'm hoping for some functionality like JOSM's validator
tools but in python.  I'm particularly interested in overlapping ways
validation test.

You could also create your own overlay using OpenLayers or Leaflet; then 
the relation could use any tagging that describes it without showing as 
a regional cycle network.   Here's an example:

  Feel free to use anything there if it is interesting.   I generated 
the GPX set from that OSM relation.
