If someone pulls the cord or there's someone waiting at it, yes. But it's not like a bus station where the bus will always stop regardless of demand. > Where would you wait if you wanted to take the bus at this stop? Next to the road roughly guesstimating the closest safe spot for the driver to stop at. Occasionally an advertising company will notice the presence of passengers waiting and drop a bench with a billboard on it, but the city, the transit agency and/or the landowner they left it on are somewhat quick to remove them. > Or is it just for getting off? No, you can board, too. ___ Talk-us mailing list Talk-us@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us
[Talk-us] How to map deviation areas for routes?
Here in Tulsa (and apparently Wichita as well, along with Cherokee Nation Transit, Kibois Area Transit System, and presumably most midwestern agencies) have a concept of "deviation area" on their routes. In such a case, you can be picked up or dropped off anyplace they can fit a bus (usually a 15-to-30 passenger Ford Econoline or Freightliner Sprinter-based straight-van bus conversion), assuming you either call in advance for pickup, or let the driver know where you want out when you board. What's the best way to get this into OSM? ___ Talk-us mailing list Talk-us@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us
[Talk-us] Mappy hour tomorrow!
Hey all, It's time for Mappy Hour tomorrow! I changed the time slot to 11am Pacific / 2pm Eastern, let's try that a few weeks and see if it works for more people. Let me know. https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/cpiqg6sldpjconoipvhmd3skhcc We will start doing a theme as promised, I just don't know what it should be and haven't had time to think about it. Any suggestions? -- Martijn van Exel skype: mvexel ___ Talk-us mailing list Talk-us@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us

Sorry you can't make it Jack. The direct hangout link is here - I think: https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_/event/cpiqg6sldpjconoipvhmd3skhcc Sorry, Google+ makes it really hard to just share a link to an event. I still don't quite understand how it works. On Sun, Mar 8, 2015 at 9:14 PM, Jack Burke wrote: > PS.
