[Talk-us] TIGER layer usage limit?

2015-09-19 Thread Wolfgang Zenker
Hi,

currently I get error messages like

Skipping job
http://c.tiles.mapbox.com/v4/enf.e0b8291e/17/26552/45850.png?access_token=pk.eyJ1Ijoib3BlbnN0cmVldG1hcCIsImEiOiJhNVlHd29ZIn0.ti6wATGDWOmCnCYen-Ip7Q
 because host limit reached

in JOSM while editing and trying to show the TIGER 2015 overlay.

Do I map to much? Or is this a global limit and the grand total of
people using this layer is too high?

Wolfgang

[Talk-us] USBRS WikiProject seeks volunteer mappers

2015-09-19 Thread stevea
OSM's USBRS WikiProject is making nice progress on the latest USBR
ballots now before AASHTO awaiting approval: for this round, we now
have volunteers in Vermont, Kansas, Indiana and Arizona! However,
the project could still use additional volunteers to "step right up!"
and offer help entering these pending national bicycle routes:

USBRs 21, 321 and 521 in Georgia
USBRs 35 and 50 in Indiana

In Georgia, all three routes need to be added to OSM, about 342 km of
route data. The complete application (ballot to AASHTO) with map,
turn by turn directions/route log and Georgia DOT imprimatur is
available.

In Indiana, USBR 35 is "mostly correctly" entered into OSM, largely
needing a good review/proofread compared to official ballot route
data. This goes MUCH quicker than entering the whole route from
scratch! USBR 50 in Indiana needs some minor corrections around
Indianapolis and a similar review/proofread, meaning it, too, can be
completed relatively quickly.

If you wish to help, please email me with your request and I'll send
you the ballot(s). But time is getting short to enter route data, as
these are likely to be approved in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you!
