Hi, Martijn-
Are there particular skills or perspectives the current board thinks would
be useful to add to the board? In my experience, discussing those can help
bring out candidates that might not otherwise apply.

[Talk-us] Slack

Hi all,

OSM US has had a Slack community for a while where you can chat with fellow
mappers / OSMers. Slack is a popular group chat platform that is easy and
free to use (but not open source, unfortunately). It works on the web, or
with desktop and phone apps.

We have 278 people on there who wrote 41236 messages and shared 401 files.
Woo!

It would be great to hear your voice there too. You can just hang out and
'listen', ask questions, talk about your OSM projects or mapping
achievements, and even create a channel for your local OSM group or
favorite topic.
