2011-12-14 Thread Mike Dupont
I also did not click decline, and I dont see why it has to be that
easy. I have said many times, all my work outside of kosovo and
albania you can relicense. I dont see a button for that?
Why should I make it easy for you? I put months of work into it, and
spent also alot of money traveling around and talking to people. why
should I just give it up ?

The changesets tagged bot=yes are automated and it was mentioned
somewhere in LWG minutes that those could be relicensed. They're not
100% automated, but mostly (i.e. about a day of manual review went
into each of the abbreviations expanding changesets). AFAIK
Frederik's visualization tool already treats those changesets as
clean.

It is a small percentage of my edits changeset-count-wise but they are
large changesets so it's a notable percentage data wise.

(I hope my other changesets will not be reverted either but it's hard
to tell right now with the amount of false assumptions made in the
license change process)
Cheers

First thing I'd try is personally contacting user kyrbyboy. If he
doesn't respond to the OSM messaging system, he seems to have an
account with recent activity on tripadvisor.ca - not sure if you can
initiate contact through their system or not:

The OSMF will delete 27844130 and (maybe) undelete and revert 8814701 to
its state just after the import. This will result in, at the least,
damage such as the lanes tag returning to 4 and the Route 2 relation
being broken.

with v1 attribution = Office of Geographic and Environmental Information
(MassGIS)
source = massgis_import_v0.1_20071009101959
which to me says it was created from the dataset we have permission to keep.
(Mass would be denuded if we retracted all MASSGIS imports, since that was
preferred source here not Tiger. Ben's was not the id used for most such.
Odd.)

Everything red or orange has at least one editor who hasn't agreed to
the ODBL+CT. These objects will be deleted (if red) or reverted (if
orange) by the OSMF on April 1, 2012.

(As for the Portland area, I seem to remember reading that balrog-kun's
automated edits will be exempted, so this rendering has some false
positives in the orange. It also has some false negatives in the red,
since the copyright for any way that has been split lies with the
original creator of the pre-split way.)
