Kalau dicoba dari luar ada yg bisa, paling tidak setting servernya jalan. Sudah 
dibandingkan kenapa ada yg jalan dan ada yg tidak? Untuk yg tidak jalan, 
mungkin masalahnya ada di vpn client. Ini clientnya linux juga?

belum lama saya punya masalah yg mirip, vpn clientnya yg ngga jalan, lalu saya 
reinstall driver untuk NICnya, alhamdullilah jalan.

Coba lihat di # cat /proc/net/dev atau #lshw -C network, apakah ada wlan0 dan 
wmaster0, kalau ada coba usahakan ganti menjadi eth1. Jika ada wmaster0 ini, 
biasanya pppX tidak terbentuk dan bisa muncul beberapa jenis error, diantaranya 
LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests.

Salah satu caranya, ganti di /etc/network/interfaces, tapi waktu saya coba cara 
ini tidak jalan. Cara lain, reinstall driver card nya (menjadi eth1) pakai  
ndiswrapper. saya pakai ubuntu 8.04 sbg vpn client, sepertinya saat install 
ubuntu ini salah mengambil drivernya (bug?) atau driver defaultnya tidak cocok. 

Kalau tidak jalan juga, coba boot dari "linux-image-xxx" bukan dari 
"linux-generic" supaya mendeteksi interface yg betul, kalau masih belum jalan 
juga reinstall linux clientnya.

kalau dari luar sebagian ada yang bisa, terus sebagian ada yang gak
bisa, coba cek sama isp yang digunakan. siapa tahu akses pptp-nya
diblok

btw, sepengetahuan saya, akses pptp di speedy diblok.
