Don, I like the way you resolved that drone in the A part, and enjoyed your variations. Getting more and more jealous of those long, strong, effective pinky fingers...that look as big as my regular ones. Its wonderful to see the variation and a wonderful demonstration of how each one of us is an individual. Don et al, Here's my second version. Gee, do you think we're obsessive compulsive? Every time I think I have this down I realize there's some other part of it I don't have right. I *think* the held A is for two beats (at about 120 bpm) a the end of the shortened B part on The Girls' Video. I just realized watching the play back that I'm playing both beats just to make it easier to count, instead of slurring it, which would be much cooler. Mike, that A part is really singing to me and liked the drone thing too. I am having problems with execution, the ideas are there, all good ones but my fangers stiffen up when the camera is on...and glitches everywhere anyway...dang... more work to do..!!!
