Panda crashed my system. Had to un-install. Like some

  transparent both to system TB!

I tried to re-enact what you did, but couldn't. Maybe I did something
wrong. But I found out that the Print Setup is definitely buggy:

Whenever I selected a font and OK'ed it, the main window of TB!
got in the background *with no dialogue box or TB! window in
the foreground*. there should have been the Print Setup window,
which actually was there, *but behind TB!'s main window*. I had
to click on TB!'s main window, then the Print Setup came back.
After the second time I even had to first get access - through
the task bar - to an open View Folder before I could get TB!'s
   main and the Setup.

Also, it took some seconds (considerably longer than it should)
to get the font selector windows.

I hope this will get better with the next beta! ;-)

For F-Secure checking e-mail, what did you do? If it is the Gatekeeper
option, I had to disable this since it slowed down normal use of the
computer when accessing files. Especially ZIP files (like installers)
became a big problem - just try to install Opera with Java and you
will wonder why the installer doesn't come up for minutes!

If there is another option to scan e-mails automatically and directly
I'd greatly appreciate you telling me.

Yes, this _window behaviour_ is exactly what I'm getting; it's often
trial-and-error (Taskbar, Task Manager, wait and see) to get the
dialog box(es) in front of the main screen.

(On the home machine, with XP, there is no problem - so far - with the
font reverting to Times New Roman, or whatever; on the work machine,
with 95, there is, and that's where I first reported the problem from.
The work machine has not had the OS reinstalled for about 18 months,
whereas the XP machine was formatted and installed 2 weeks ago, so it
is quite possible there are things hanging around in the Registry and
elsewhere causing trouble with the work machine).

Hi All,

On Fri, 5 Oct 2001 at 02:03:02 GMT +0800 (10/5/2001 1:03 AM GMT +0700
where you think I live) Thomas F=[TF] typed the following :

[ ... ]

TF Ok, so I need to set Leave in order to not get the dupes?

I think so because only on this mode TB! will use UIDL approach.

TF I don't use a crappy dial-up network connection (C-DUN, as my
TF previous abbreviation CDU is the same as a political party in
TF Germany and has been critisised) now, so I cannot at the moment
TF replicate it. But leaving the messages on the server in order to
TF not get the dupes sounds to me like a work-around.

The downside is if later you change to normal mode (delete
messages after download), you will get duplicate :-(

TF Maybe someone else, who supports Silviu's suggestion as well, can
TF help out here.

Till now, I really like the way MDaemon DomainPOP Engine to handle
this stuff :
- at first, MDaemon will issue UIDL (instead of STAT as TB! did on
normal mode), to get all message-id already on POPmailbox, then keep
this on temporary file for the record.
- After that, MDaemon will download as normal.
- If at any reason the internet connection failed, next connection
MDaemon issue UIDL command again, but before downloading MDaemon
  will check/compare to previous record.
If the record match, MDaemon will not redownload the messages,
instead he re-issue DELE command for those messages.

Note: STAT is old fashioned POP protocol command, nowadays I never
find any POPServer not support UIDL command.

This is the technical explanation then. Thanks. The problem would be
