Yes, and the file is there. But it should show up as a separate tab in
the message window, and it should show up in the attachment column. It
is doing neither. Is this related to the posts about attachments
disappearing on outgoing mail?

Yes Dwight, absolutely. I saw your screenshot in your other post, and I
must admit that's ugly! As yet I only have the trash bin which is ok.

An inbox /might/ be useful for filtering purposes, but I'm not quite sure
about that yet and it's late here. So have a good time! :o)

in the preview pane everything is okay, but double click an html-mail

Still confused? ;-)

IMO a bug. Sean, did you send a bug report?

Sorry Dierk, then I didn't get your point.

DH> Does it actually work as one? That is, does it carry all the deleted

As Dwight said, it's a trash folder for mails from the common folders. So
TB! regards common folders like an extra account with its own trash bin. I
think common folders are useful for storing messages from different
accounts centrally. The daily work will still be done from within the
accounts.

Just my 0.02€ ...

Perhaps, but for those of us that had "Immediate Delivery" checked, this
is the first time the dialogue box appeared asking if we 'really' want
the action taken. We now have to uncheck the confirmation box to remove
it, whereas before that dialogue box never appeared under those

1.54 Beta/14 Attachement problem

Hello TBBetaListers,

I was unable to see the 'beat14.jpg' file attached at this msg:

> From: Steffen Steiner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

> Date: 30 Nov 2001, 19:48:58

looking in the messages.tbb file, I found that the attachment is
store in the attachment directory of the incoming account and not in
the final (filtered) one.
> X-Content-File: C:\Program Files\The Bat!\Mail\Free Alain\Attach\beat14.JPG
but this account F/A property was set to :
C:\Program Files\The Bat!\Mail\TheBat\Attach

The problem occur when a filter is apply on a message, with an
attachment, stored in an account that keep them in a special
directory.

High resource usage by Connection Centre

2001-12-01 Thread Alastair Scott

When I'm typing in an application window other than TB!, nothing is
displayed when the Connection Centre is visible although I keep typing;
when the CC closes the text is displayed "in a rush".

I've never seen this (with XP Professional) before beta 14. I'll try to
quantify the percentage CPU utilisation (etc) later.

Are you shure? Never mind - new beta: 14 seems to have some new
features about "common folder" funcionality. Let's wait for further
development of TB! (in this respect).

No, no. If I use a default account with its specific e-mail address I
can use its own Outbox. If I have messages in different accounts to
send, it is because different e-mail addresses of mine are used.

So a common Outbox does not make much sense.

Other than a common Trash folder, which would really be a good thing.
