Copying filters between incoming and outgoing does not change conditions like before
Copying an OFS filter with condition sender contains [EMAIL PROTECTED] from the incoming to the outgoing section used to change the sender condition to recipient. With the NFS this does not happen. Is this a good or a bad thing? The new behaviour is more logical, if I do copy a filter, an exact copy should be created, but on the other hand, I *always* wants to change this condition when copying between incoming and outgoing filters. -- Regards, Marcus Ohlström Using The Bat! v3.0.1.33 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 PGP Public Key at http://www.canit.se/~marcus/pgp.asc Current beta is 3.0.2.8 Rush | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Lost account filters
Hello, I backed up my 3.0.25 version, erased all registry evidence of TheBat and proceeded to reload a fresh install with the msi file. Before I started I transferred over the 3.0.2.7 exe. Upon starting The new empty version I then chose OTFE, and did a restore. All the files are there in order... The one thing that is missing, this is the second try doing this, is the filters for each account. Anyone else having this problem? I do have a copy of TheBat! zipped so I can retrieve the filters, but that didn't seem to work on my first install of OFTE. Is there a way to copy or transfer filters? Sorry if this has been brought up, I didn't want to download new messages after doing a backup and i can't get into the IP where the messages are being stored right now. -- Thanks, Dean 3.0.2.7 Windows 2000 5 2195 Current beta is 3.0.2.8 Rush | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
AV in Maintenance center
Hello, I am still having this problem. https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=3901 I have begged and pleaded with RIT labs to look into this. I can easily recreate the problem. It happens on three machines: XP SP1, XP SP2 and Win 2k all SP's and latest updates. All my requests for service to RIT go unanswered. They just don't respond. Not even a notification that they received my request. I hate to say this but that is just unacceptable treatment of a paying customer. To ignore a customer completely just shows their maturity level as a company and if this keeps up, I will be forced to look for another alternative as an email client for my company. I have had this problem since the gold release of 3.0 and it is so easy to recreate. All I have to do is click Folder -- Maintenance and, depending on the time of day :)), it will either just quit, no error message at all, or I get the AV. After the AV, TB becomes unstable. Why is this so hard to troubleshoot? I develop code for a living and I always add traces and debug options to find these problems. Is there not some type of startup option I can invoke to help diagnose this problem? Why is RIT ignoring my requests for help? Here is another scenario. I installed a fresh TB on a clean machine, Win 2k all SP's and patches, and TB works fine. I then use my backup from the other machine and now this new machine gets the AV. So, it is definitely something in my config or mail files causing this. Does anybody have any idea what could cause this, or, do you have any idea how to narrow this down? Preferences: 1. The tab name of SmartBat is better than the Anothe Settings we had before. 2. On the SmartBat tab, the header Working days is acceptable, but Work days would be better. 3.
