Voyager adds new reg entries
Hi all, I tried Voyager the first time after upgrading to XP, and I see, that it doesn't just enter the registry entry Voyager » Speller, as it used to on Win2K and Win98, but also the folders AdvSort and FolderEditor. What should be the use of this? It is no acceptable behavior to write registry entries to friendly hosts' machines by no means! :( For reference see https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5515 -- Cheers Peter The Bat! v3.81.12 :beta: on WinXP, SP2, 5, 1, build 2600, AMD Athlon 2200+ at 1794 MHz, 512 MB RAM Current beta is 3.81.12 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

I haven't tried Voyager yet, but I might want it someday. And I would like for it *not* to write to the registry of friendly hosts' machines when I do decide to get it. For reference see https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5515 I had a look. I see that it is confirmed and assigned to Maxim Masiutin. Let's hope he is working on it. NB: Peter, the severity of this looks more than minor to me. Maybe it was minor with only the Speller involved, but 3 Registry entries to a machine one has only borrowed looks more nearly in the major category, to me. Perhaps I'm wrong in my assessment of that, but right now, that's my thinking. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.81.12 Beta on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 Current beta is 3.81.12 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Re[2]: cant unsubscribe from email list
Hello Russell, address because it doesn't exist. Write over your email address temporary in the Account, Properties. If you mean change my email in my account settings from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I don't think that will work because the account doesn't exist. Well only in my ISP eyes. I meant that. And the method I suggested would have worked. I could set your email address in my account and send emails... Does not matter if it exists or not. -- Vili The Bat 3.81.04 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Szervizcsomag 2 Current beta is 3.81.12 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
