KAV plugin
Does anyone use the spam plugin of Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0? I went back to version 6.1.744.001. Perhaps he has recently installed/upgraded ZA? Since I don't use Kaspersky (but if I remember well, it is Kaspersky that provides the antivirus part of ZA 7...) I can't help you any further. If he needs to downgrade: Googling will help him find the right instructions.
