.MSG opening bug still present.

I tried to open an .eml file by double click on it on desktop and TB!
not running. TB! opens the main window and freezes. First time I got
this error message after I killed TB! within the task manager:

Well, thats how I discovered this problem of disappearing folders! At

Yes I do. I had assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that it would
start the same way "when Windows starts" or when I click on
The Bat after I've closed it.

I liked the minimized behavior - even though it was a bug in
33. So I set the preference to minimize at startup. Oh
well - it's not a big deal.

I have never heard of someone _really_ losing emails that way.
I may be mistaken but I think it has to do with changing versions (betas).

Alas, I am one of the few where the ctrl+alt+shift+L trick has never worked,
I suppose (but have no proof) that has to do with my particular setup (OS on
F-drive, TB! on D-drive,... (also I do not think it has anything to do with
my Azerty keyboard)).

When (not that often) I have disappearing folders, I have to add a
"new" folder, use the exact name of the disappeared folder. TB! then says it
already exists and asks if I want to use the initial folder and the problem
is solved.

So, taking the above into account, you should be glad the trick works in your
case! :-)

I don't know what does it mean "User v1.0", but this is for those users who are
using "Remote Desktop Connection" to a Windows server to run The Bat! remotely,
e.g. on Windows Server 2003. This is a very nice feature to run programs

Less than an hour later, I noticed once again, that I still missing

3.99.23.3 BETA

2007-08-29 Thread Maxim Masiutin
http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tbb399233.rar

[!] In a Terminal Services environment, The Bat! now runs in the native mode.
When the Terminal Server loads a legacy application that is not
Terminal-Services _ aware, it also loads a DLL that contains compatibility
code. The Bat!, in contrast, is running in the native mode, that avoids the
overhead of loading this extra DLL and running the compatibility code.
[-] The Bat! always minimizes itself to tray (beta issue)
[+] If a plugin causes Access Violation when loading it, The Bat! removes all
the plugins from the configuration file.

Hello Mau,

How are you opening the MSG/EML files? Do you mean that you are using an
application where you click to and MSG/EML and this application invokes
"ShellExecute" to view the MSG/EML, which, in its turn, opens The Bat! to show
these messages? Which aplication are you using?

I am very sorry but I CANNOT confirm as fixed.

I tried a first time and TB started and the .msg was opened just
fine.

But 1 time is poor statistics so I tried a second time and... this
time TB froze. Tired of waiting in front of a frozen TB I started
Task Manager and the attached PNG shows what I saw, 3 TB processes. I
killed the one with the TV icon and all 3 disappeared.

But two times is still poor statistics, so I tried a third time and...
surprise! This time TB started fine again and the .msg was displayed
again.

So I tried a forth time and TB froze again. I had just opened Task
Manager to kill TB when... CHUMP! An error dialog telling me that:
"Windows cannot find file 'D:\Temp\0001.MSG'..." just like I
reported in
