Thanks for your reply. I should have been able to figure that out, but for

Meanwhile I also had noticed I could turn it on by clicking on the

noticed that the Mark as Read, Unread and Delete options were disabled

Moving to a different message or folder didn't change anything, the
options were disabled for good. I had to re-start TB to get them enabled

Anybody noticed something similar?

And in the kludges of MAU's message is this line:

But because I've it too with some mails from completely other

Re: 4.0.0.3: No way to sort accounts and folders

2007-12-27 Thread MAU
Hello Marek,

confirmed, but do You really miss this? I am not sure, why can be sorting
of folders useful, as I think, this is waste feature...

OK, further to my reply last night I will give you just an example of why
I use this feature.

The following filter is the last Incoming filter in my main work
account:

 TB! Message Filter
beginFilter
UID: [9BFB79A4.01C48E1D.325C07EF.2B5FA5AD]
Name: New\20Unknown
Filter: {\0D\0A\20`21\0D\0A}
Priority High
MoveMessage AutoFolder folder
\5C\5CERM\20Spain\5CInbox\20-\20Unknown\5C%FromName
IsActive
IsSendQueue
endFilter

As you can see, what it does is to move any message that has not been
trapped by any previous filter to a sub-folder of 'Inbox - Unknown',
creating the subfolder if it doesn't already exist.

This way, messages from 'new people' not already in my AB will be moved
to a sub-folder with his/her name. Then, when I reply, a similar
Outgoing filter will move my reply to same folder (isn't this what a lot
of people wish). Also, any further incoming or outgoing messages to this
folder so that I maintain 'conversations' (threads) with different
people in separate folders and not all them mixed up in a single Inbox,
or Inbox-Unknown, etc.

But because every subfolder that is created (manually or automatically)
will be added at the end, the result is something like attached PNG.
Then is when I use the feature of folder sorting to get these sub-folder
in alphabetical order, not just for 'aesthetics' but because they are
easier to browse and find. I select my Inbox-Unknown folder, I click on
the Name column title and select the 'Sub-items of current item' option
from the pop-up dialog.

But I have other uses for folder sorting :)

Clicking on Help in the main menu does nothing here.

Hitting F1 results in an error message:

ZW This is quite unexpected message because this number regards File
ZW Encrypt/Sign item in main menu. Help support for it was added in
ZW 4.0.0.3 version. I have the CHM file maintained by me for Polish users
ZW and have no problems.

I skipped 4.0.0.3 and get the same errors with 4.0.0.4 that I got with
4.0.0.2.

Dear Jens,

It is a packed RAR file of thebat.exe alone.
I didn't talk about the .rar File, i talked about the .exe File.
Therefor the answer from Marek Mikus following is usable to me.

I just realize that I didn't download the msi. Also I couldn't find
any link related to v4. could please someone post it? Many thanks
