Hello Gunivortus,

This is the Windows Installer service that warns the user that The Bat!
installation cannot update a component because a program is running. We have no
control over it.

The empty captions of radio buttons is a bug. Could you please report the
problem of empty captions to the bugtracking server? Thank you in advance.

When you press this button, that replaces the
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mapi32.dll
file with a file that is appropriate for TB.

TB mapi killing Outlook installation

2008-04-24 Thread Carsten Guthardt-Schulz
Hi,

Can anyone confirm this, it appears to be pretty serious:

I have Outlook 2003 and TB installed. When pressing the button "install TB as
Simple MAPI request handler" (under Options/Preferences/Application) it will
make my Outlook installation unusable:
In Outlook I cannot check new mails anymore, and I cannot edit E-Mail-Accounts.
Just going to Control Panel/Mail reveals the problem: Clicking on the E-Mail
Accounts button doesn't work, the window that should open when pressing this
button does not appear.

I just spend hours trying to fix it, blaming it on Outlook. Finally found a way
to fix it by starting fixmapi.exe form the system32 folder.

But when I go TB and install it as Simple MAPI request handler, the whole thing
starts all over again.

Stef, I do not know, if is this related, but I have similar problem using
keyboard arrow keys with Ctrl+Shift sometimes. During writing, I hit
Ctrl+Shift and use RightArrow for marking text as selected to next word.
Sometimes, TB selects half of row and not from position where I had a
cursor placed.

I had another guess, but this is to be tested if the double-word is
in the dictionary as one word...

No time to do it now.

Editor behaviour - Eating Spaces

2008-04-24 Thread Jens Franik
Guten Tag   The Bat! Beta,

i can't reproduce that now, but i happened right some minutes ago as i
answered a Mail in Plain-Text with Charset UTF-8.
Maybe the Coders have a hint where the Problem could be?

Situation:
If you have a Double word in Editor (Plain-Text) like
Applejuice and you go in and make a space like "Apple juice" then try to
make the "j" of juice a capital character and the Space between is gone
away.

Confirmations?
