sábado, 20 dic 2008 at 03:26, it seems you wrote: Using your argument, you're right. That seems logical. Although I think that the usual Windows user expects to see all his open programs or sub-windows when he presses Alt+Tab, exactly the way he sees them on the task bar. Me personally, I don't remember a situation when the items on the task bar differed from the ones visible when pressing Alt+Tab. And as TB!-Window and AB-Window were there on the task bar, I expected to see at least these two icons when I pressed Alt+Tab. But there was only one icon from the open dialog and that confused me. I think, TB! does not show standard behavior here, but I agree, this is actually not a big thing (that's why it is set as 'minor' in BT...). TB! uses the standard behaviour because the Properties dialog it's a modal dialog. Hi NetVicious, I looked and all three items there were already unchecked. Ok, so the problem it's the bigger font you have configured on Windows. As MAU said you need bigger icons. Yes. The configuration in Vista is already bigger, but can't be bigger, because lots of my other applications aren't complete on the screen anymore. That's one of the reasons, Istrongly prefer programs which have the option to change the iconsize to one's wishes. I don't know if editing the xml of the icons you could scalate them. Hello Maxim, Please test the 4.1 release MSIs which we are going to release on Tuesday. http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_pro_4-1-3.msi Installed (only Core) and running. Two little issues: 1.- My 'Add or Remove programs' in Control Panel shows two (2) entries for TB v4.1. I am not sure now if there was only one before this last installation, or not. I should have verified. Aside of that, there is a little difference between the two entries as you can see in attached PNGs. The first one shows 'used occasionally' and the date of last time used, and the second one shows as 'hardly ever' used and no date. 2.- I always do a Custom installation to only install Core and no multilingual interface nor dictionaries. As I can recall from the 'n' last installations, when I select Custom, the Multilingual Interface and Dictionaries were always Xed (unselected for installation). No big deal but this time I had to X them. -- Best regards, Miguel A. But all was well in the immediate start at the end of installation process, also. You at Rit Labs are to be congratulated! Unlike some others here, I have only one .exe for TB running in Task Manager. Even the icon in the task bar with flapping wings doesn't show in Task Manager, so all seems ok for my uses (I don't use many of the advanced features that some of you use, including the one for brewing a cup of coffee at 5 AM through one's wireless network to the coffee machine). Problems with Quick Templates
I have noticed a rather annoying problem with quick templates When I invoke them in an email i am (say) fowarding they always chew off the first word or so of the email even if the cursor is in the SUBJECT or TO field. I know of the feature where it will take the handle upon pressing CONTROL-SPACE but this chews up anything -- Rick Help bring to a close, the Age of Greed v4.1.3 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 Current beta is 4.1.3 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Let me see if I understand you correctly: You have a %TO= macro in a folder template and a %TO= macro in the AB template. If so, TB! works as designed. The %TO marco adds an address to the TO field. If there is one address already, that one will stay. If you want to clear the TO field first, use %TO= first. Better yet, don't use folder templates so that you don't send messages to the list by mistake. We have seen some private messages on the TB! lists because people had sent them while the TB! folder was active. Quite funny, though. -- Cheers, Thomas.
