I just created two messages, set one for tomorrow with custom and one
for 8 tomorrow. Before any restarting, standby, screensaver or
anything had a chance to operate, sending queued messages dispatched
them both.

I know that I have to close the program often, because that is the
only to get counts updated, new mail colleccted, and messages which
have been read elsewhere to be recognized as read so scrolling through
unread messages doesn't stop at all those as well. So I can pretty
much guarantee that I have closed and opened TB! during the time that
messages have been waiting to be sent, but that shouldn't interfere if
it worked right.

A lot of the 9 AM batches will be with the program minimized and the screen
saver active - yet during the betas when it worked flawlessly, that was never a
problem.

Today for the 2 pm batch, I was sitting right here busy on the computer with
the bat up. As I said 2 went and 3 did not.

All I have to do to send the other 3 is highlight them and
which is unpark. This seems to clear the delay status (although NOT the icon) as
they will go out with the next mail. I think this is significant in
troubleshooting the problem.
Is it time for Maxim to get involved with this? :)

this is not possible, developers has no return code if TNEF file was
successfully extracted or not, so there could be an option to hide
TNEF files, but without condition if extraction passed or not.

I use Antispamsniper v3.2.0.6 and I didn't experience any problems so
far. Did you or the other user close the program between creating the
mails and sending them? Has the computer been in standby or in
hibernation mode and has been restarted before the mails ought to be
sent? Has Windows been restarted? Has the screen saver been activated?

I have no idea how any of these actions might influence delayed
sending; during my experiment described earlier I had no program
close, screen saver, standby, hibernation or OS restarts. In fact,
program and computer weren't used at all.

I had 5 messages timed to go out at 2 pm. 2 went out at 2:11. The other 3 are
still in the outbox.

Anyone have any ideas? There is a user on TBUDL with another "same problem" of
setting a message to go out at a future time and in doesn't go.

What might have an impact on the scheduler? I use antispamsniper. Has that ever
had a documented effect on OUTGOING mail?

So, this makes things clear to me. But IIRC it was discussed here, if

I am getting so frustrated with this. In some beta releases it has worked
perfectly, and the next release of an EXE will totally break it (form me at
least) and I have no idea of why.

Other's are getting flaky behavior too so in needs to be looked into, yet it
seems to be working flawlessly for you.:)

PGP9 support

2009-06-15 Thread Miles Chang
Hello All,

I'm using PGP9 trial-ware recently. TB doesn't have built-in support for PGP9
currently. Although PGP9 has the email proxy, I prefer the built-in PGP support
of TB.

I've searched in the archive of TBBETA & TBUDL. I found out that PGP9 support
was discussed about 4 years ago. So my question is whether the PGP9 support
would be implementd or not? Thanks!

I set up three batches each containing ten mails:

1)
The first batch was created 17:45 to 17:47 and set to be sent at
18:30. They were sent at 18:30, the creation time says 18:30.

2)
The second batch was created 17:51 to 17:52 and set to be sent 15
minutes later (profile +15). They were sent at 18:06 to 18:07, the
creation time says 18:06 to 18:07.

3)
The third batch was created 17:55 to 17:57 and set to be sent on June,
15th 2009 at 18:20. They were sent at this date at 18:20, the creation
time says 18:20.

(All creation times are the times as displayed in recipients inbox)
Every message was sent no one was lost.
I didn't experience any parking/unparking issues.

It seems Dwight and I are having trouble with delayed sending and are having
more trouble getting anyone to help test the feature or even verify if there IS
a problem.

I can really use this feature but currently it is sending 2 out of 5 scheduled
emails only. If I UNPARK the other 3 (which were not parked as such) then "send
& receive mail" they will go, and that will happen irregardless of the
scheduled time. (If the "unparking" is done [say] an hour before the scheduled
time it will over ride the schedule and send the emails with the next "send &
receive mail")

Confirmations anyone
