It will be ok to add one option to show or not to show this button
always, but in case the option it's marked for show it, the button

In my previous message I reported that my nw unread tab was labelled 'All

I had two set up, but have reduced it to one and it does seem to stay connected
now. Should one connection not remain even if you have two or more connections?

This brings me to another question. Will you be able to reserve one connection
for downloading messages as before?

As far as SmarterMail. I have sent my service provider the message and they
have
sent it on to SmarterMail, however there has been no reply. I am a little
concerned that there will be no response as there are messages in their forums
going back 2 or 3 years of people using Outlook complaining of UID problems.

I have also considered switching to a different provider for the e-mail,
however
this is easier said than done. The one I initially looked at was also using
SmarterMail. I am wondering how this will play out in the long run as
SmarterMail seems to have a cheap solution for service providers to provide
e-mail and there may be a lot of IMAP users using it. It does not seem that
many, if any, of the beta testers are using it though.

What will happen if the release goes out and all SmarterMail accounts are not
working properly. I know it is not your fault, but the users will be in a bind
as to how to deal with it.

As far as not using it with TB, I can not give up on it that easily. I have
built some complex macros and filters that I cannot do in any other program and
I have no permission yet to spend extra money to move to a different provider,
so I'm hoping a solution can be found by SmarterMail or by the true geniuses at
Ritlabs (blatant attempt at sucking up) :)

Naming a tab works well here. Did you change the name on the first tab

Ok, this is weird.

I could no get the reply to work and the F4 function to work at all this

I shut down the program and restarted it.

F4 and reply appear to work.

Any ideas on why that problem happened.

No, it's just related to links in the message body, e.g. when you
receivea plaintext message and it has an text like
http://www.ritlabs.com/ and you double-click to open it, The Bat! uses
better (proper) mechanism to open this link. In the past, there were
complaints by some users that when they clicked these links they got a
error message "cannot open file http://www.ritlabs.com/";, but now it
should be OK. If you still get the "cannot open file" errors, try to
copy this link to Windows Run line (Press Win+R to invoke it), than
it's not related to The Bat! But if Windows Run opens the link
properly while The Bat! does not, then we should investigate this
issue.

I wouldn't call that working, but I may misunderstand the feature
lacking any documentation...

1st) If I use 'Configure Tabs' to create new tabs I would expect these
to show up. They don't, not even after a restart.

2nd) Using 'Create new a tab...' creates one, and that one shows up.

3rd) Switching from 'Information' to another tab except 'All' doesn't
show the content of the tab but the content of the information
tab. Coming from the 'All' tab works well.

4th) 'Properties...' doesn't do anything

And 'Folder tabs...' aren't working either. At least you can't edit
anything in 'Configure folder tabs...'
