This time when I ran the tool linked above a second time,

did it NOT remove the ancient one, but now the v5.1.6
seems to be stuck as well. Sigh.

However, the tool looks promising, so I'm giving it another

and/or vague. After all, I get the error I'm trying to
fix when trying to INSTALL a program, but I think I need
to tell the tool that I'm actually having trouble UNINSTALLING

years ago.

And if it matters, I'm running on XP, too.

Seriously, even if it were, there's nothing wrong with that alone. It'd rather
make the achievements more impressive.
The problem, as I see it, is the symptoms - that do not necessarily require an
one-man-show behind the
product: the strange focus on features and ignoring others (including
erros); the obviously broken release(s) etc.

Let's hope for the best - a nice stable mail program with features just as

And, personally, I'd wish I could get an answer to my old question: is it
enough to find and agree on a bug on the list here, or is there a bugracker

Download center: Checkboxes are no longer clickable

2012-05-10 Thread Peter Asenbauer
Dear all,

Ever since version 5.1.2.2 the checkboxes of the download centre are
no longer clickable for me (I have not tried 5.1.2.0). This is on
a POP account and Win7 64bit.

ctrl-F2 takes me to the download center and I get the list of waiting
messages.

I can see the checkboxes for read, receive, delete and open, but as
often as I try to click on them with the mouse, there is no way to
toggle them. They just don't react at all.

I can, however, address them by the menu in the download center. And I
can reach and operate this menu by mouse and/or keyboard. This
is my current workaround to operate the download center. Not nice.

Who can confirm?

None. It's just an opinion. My opinion is that Ritlabs wanted to get
rid of the Bugtracker history and make a fresh start, probably
without a renewed bugtacker. Much more convenient for them, don't you
think?

Filtering out messages

2012-05-10 Thread RS (FEDARA)
Hi,

I have set messages to be moved to one folder on arrival from a couple
of POP3 accounts and then other filters are set to be triggered while
Reading the e-mail.

As for now it mostly works apart but:
- if I don't want to read each of them and mark couple of e-mails and
press CTRL+M they are not processed and stay in the general folder up
to the moment I manually filter the folder. That behavior was like
that for long time ; nothing not to be able to live with just
wondering why CTRL+M makes filters not to be triggered. It's a manual
mark Read order so IMO should work the same way as checking e-mail. Am
I mistaken here?

- in v.5 it happens from time to time that e-mail is filtered to a
certain folder without me reading it. I know that because it's still
marked as unread on the Message Ticker but not in General Inbox.

That part is a bit random. In that case for a certain sender mostly
e-mails stay in General Inbox up to the moment they are read but
sometimes they are filtered out before reading. I do see that problem
for about 1-1.5 month. Happens not so often and Message Ticker is on
so can live with it for some time :)
