Question about Quick Filter button in Status bar
Hello all, I don't know when this Quick Filter button was introduced but I didn't 'discover' it till today. When shown, it is located on the right side of the status bar and, when clicked, the menu shown in attachment is displayed. My question is not about when, or in what version, it was introduced. Who cares about it now. My question is why this button is displayed ONLY when I select an specific folder in my folder pane, and NOT when I select any other. I have 100s of folders and I didn't check with every one of them, but I did so with many, all my most used ones. Any ideas anyone? -- Best regards, Miguel A. 5.1.6.6. AV when Drag'n'droppig TNEF attachments from a mail saved in file
Hello TB-BETA, I have an email with a TNEF (winmail.dat) attachment saved as .EML (originally that mail was saved in ThunderBird that cannot handle TNEF as it seems). I open this .EML in TheBat! (hit the .EML in Explorer). A new window with this mail comes, where I see both the original winmail.dat and those files transparently extracted from it by TheBat!. When I mark these ex-TNEF attachments and want to drag and drop them (into a ThunderBird message or a Windows Explorer folder window), I get the following AV exception: Access violation at address 00B50F09 in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of address . accompanied by the following record in ex_log.txt v5.1.6.6 MORPHIA/kabelac 26.06.2012 15:02:52.023 GUIDEF:Cannot bind layout item [MsgCtl].[mReloadMsg] It may be a bit hard to test if it somehow depends on the data...I can provide the original .EML upon individual request. But it happens both with a small and huge .EML, so the data may not matter. Maybe it's just an issue of the drop message handler not expecting attachments that "are not real". Have a nice day! -- Best regards, Viktor mailto:tbbeta-l...@kabelac.cz Current beta is 5.1.6.6 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
