Glyps problem with the latest build

Hello Batlisters,

I've been away from this list for some time and I thought let's give
the latest beta a try. The first thing I noticed is the new look and
the customizable toolbars. I like it very much but I think there is
something wrong with my glyphs-file. As you can see in the attached
picture.

Can anybody tell me if I'm the only one with this problem and what can
be done about it? Thanks in advance.

With Beta/50 my reply templates from the address book don't work

Can anybody confirm?

Double Byte Character Set support, customizable toolbars, etc...

Do you mean IMAP or MAPI? Because MAPI is working flawless on my

That's because if Ritlabs would implement something like that (I hope

If TB! would get loaded with this garbage I would definitely leave

I mean when you are following a particular thread do you open and
close the folder-view every time you read one message in that thread?
So when the thread contains 30 messages you open and close the folder

You can always ask for a compiled list of changes on this list. There
are several users that have compiled one. Take for instance the one
from Guenther Eisele (http://www.guenther-eisele.de/bat/index_e.htm).

I noticed that too, yesterday. But the strange thing is, that doing a
search for a particular name on 'sender' or 'recipient' or 'subject'
it's much _quicker_ then before. On the other hand doing a search with
the option 'anywhere' or 'headers' or 'body' it's much _slower_ then

As I recall correctly this is a long standing bug. I reported this

Very strange indeed. When I was reading your bug-report clicking Save

when I closed TB! and reopened it, it worked just fine. So I think it
_is_ a bug but it isn't easily reproducible.

I experienced this two days ago. I shutdown Win2k with TB! in the

it took too long for windows so it killed TB!. Luckily no folders were

I think I found it. TB! doesn't show the plus sign in the search when
threading mode (by references) is activated.

Steps to reproduce the bug:
 1. Press F7 (search)
 2. Press View | View thread by | References
 3. Close the search (this is important!)
 4. Press F7 again
 5. Search for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> in your
TBUDL-folder (Scope Headers)
 6. No plus sign and only one message is displayed.

When I skip step 3 I do see a plus sign.

Can anybody confirm this?

No. I forgot to mention I have enabled View | All messages so there is
no advanced filtering. What should Ctrl-= do?

In this particular event I search for a message-ID in a thread of
TBUDL. This particular message from Allie has only one reply (from
you), so it's really impossible for TB! to find more then two messages
with this message-ID in the headers. The offensive message-ID was
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. So maybe you or someone
else could do a search and see what's the result.

the first post was from the wrong address. Normally messages from
non-members doesn't reach the list, so I posted again from the address
I'm subscribed as. But as we all can see the first post *did* reach
the list. Does this mean the list isn't protected against spammers?

2001-09-04 Thread David van Zuijlekom

Hello The Bat! developers,

  I'm using The Bat! Version 1.54 Beta/7

and would like to report a bug

  The bug description:
In the Rich Text viewer pgp-signed messages with quoted material
show a bad signature with PGP shell, while in Fixed With Font
viewer the messages show up with a good signature. Messages with
no quoted material have a good signature in RTV.

  Steps to reproduce the bug:
1. Get a pgp-signed message with and without quoted material.
2. Check the signatures in the Fixed With Font viewer with
PGP-shell. The messages should have a good signature.
3. Check the signatures in the Rich Text viewer with PGP-shell.
The message with quoted material show up as bad and the one
   without show up as good.

But isn't it partly someone's own fault when receiving a message which
contains a virus in the attachment. People open the attachment
themselves. They think they are safe with a virus scanner and that
they can open everything they receive.

I personally don't use a virus scanner because I think the best virus
scanner is _common sense_. Think twice before you open something. I
haven't been infected for years now and I receive a lot of messages
which (may) contain viruses.

Yeah that seems logical to me. That's about the behaviour I would like

messagelist bug in main view

2001-05-20 Thread David van Zuijlekom

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hello TB!BETA,

There is some strange bug, when viewing messages in the main view
when threading is activated. I use thread by references and sort by
  received time in descending order.

When I expand the last thread (the one at the bottom of the message
list) and after I've read the message I close it. Then the message
above the message I just read disappears. Then when I click on the
message above it reappears, but the message where I click on
  disappears. It looks like this:

  <...>
  + bug ?: Quotes ProblemBeriku
a small bug in CCDavid Elliot
  + opening folder view Thomas
  + fontsCees

And when I expand the thread fonts and then close it again it looks
  like this:

  <...>
  + bug ?: Quotes ProblemBeriku
a small bug in CCDavid Elliot
  + fontsCees

Then when I click on the message 'a small bug in CC' it looks like
  this:

  <...>
  + bug ?: Quotes ProblemBeriku
  + opening folder view Thomas
  + fontsCees

I can repeat this over and over again by clicking on the message
  'bug ?: Quotes Problem', etc...

  Can anybody confirm this?

Not over here. When I change a folders name, the filters are changed
too.
