 Hi Max,

The Bat! 4.0.39.29 (ALPHA) is available at
 http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tb403929.rar

Sorry, had to go back to the previous alpha.
In that 29 I get, when I want to load a message, a screen telling me:
   No message loaded
Tried it at several accounts and many folders, all the same, no message could
 be
 loaded to read.

The same problem here!

I confirm that tb403418.rar gives an alarm with Antivir Premium.

I would prefer the signing of the beta rar files with S/MIME or PGP to
have the ability to check integrity of the file.
May be a SHA1/MD5 checksum file would be usable.
Adding a signature or checksum is not much work.

I think most of the betatesters want to know if the downloaded
 file is not modified.

 I second this.

This morning I reported this false positive to Avira.
This is their reply: The file 'thebat.exe' has been determined to be 'FALSE
POSITIVE'. In particular this means that this file is not malicious
but a false alarm. Detection will be removed from our virus definition
file (VDF) with one of the next updates.

 If so, I'm sorry.

I set up a Global View Mode, let's say it's name is Standard.
For mailing-lists, such as tbbeta, I like to view my messages sorted
 by reference.
So I've set up a view mode named lists.

But changing the Folder View Mode of a certain folder (e.g.
tbbeta) to lists, doesn't do anything.

In my opinion, folder view modes have to overwrite the global
 settings.

So, did I get something wrong?

I noticed the same behaviour (it's also not working properly in the latest
version 3.0.9.6)

It is our mistake, correctly global view mode should be
named forced, it always ovverides folder configuration

Does this mean that currently al folder views are ignored
According to my experience with the latest beta versions this is the case.

I didn't had Eudora on my system anymore so I downloaded the latest
version installed it and disabled Mapi. Unfortunately, this didn't
solve the problem. Also overwriting the MAPI32.DLL with the original
one didn't help. Also removing all what's Eudora from the registry
didn't help.

S/MIME Import key bug?

Hello

I know that some of you don't want to see S/mime signatures but I have
signed this message with a reason.

I would like to invite everybody to import my key and to report on

I have tried to import the S/mime key some of you sent to this list
(or directly to me) but without success. The only key which was imported
successfully was in a mail I downloaded with Outlook 2000. (Yes Jamie,
it was your key!)
