WebP vulnerability in The Bat
CEF bundled with The Bat includes a vulnerable version of libwebp (CVE-2023-4863), so both beta and stable should be updated to the latest CEF version immediately. -- < Jernej Simončič ><><><><><><><><><><><>< https://eternallybored.org/ > Because 10 billion years' time is so fragile, so ephemeral... it arouses such a bittersweet, almost heartbreaking fondness. TB 10.0.10 randomly crashing
The Bat v10.0.10 seems to be quite unstable – it often closes without any notification at all, while running in the background (so I don't notice until I want to send a new e-mail). Here's the content of my thebat64_Exceptions.log for today (when TB crashed once): Date: 11 Jun 2022 10:52:06 OS: Windows 11 X64 (AMD or Intel) build 22000 PhysMemFreeTotal: 56708/65449 MB VirtMemFreeTotal: 134179617/134217727 MB MAPI #0: Evolution [Evolution]; Path: W:\Program Files (x86)\Evolution\bin\libeutil-0.dll (not valid) MAPI #1: ExchangeMAPI [ExchangeMAPI]; Path: W:\Program Files (x86)\ExchangeMapi\exmapi32.dll (not valid) MAPI #2: Windows Live Hotmail [Hotmail]; Path: W:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\hmmapi.dll (valid) MAPI #3: Microsoft Outlook [Microsoft Outlook]; Path: W:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\VFS\ProgramFilesCommonX64\system\msmapi\1060\msmapi32.dll (valid) MAPI #4: Opera [Opera]; Path: W:\Program Files\Opera x64\OperaMAPI.dll (valid) MAPI #5: OperaNext [OperaNext]; Path: W:\Program Files\Opera x64\OperaMAPI.dll (valid) MAPI #6: The Bat!
