Here, it still behaves as I described in the Bugtraq. I cannot test with another account because I have only one. It will move to another folder containing an unread message but the last message in the previous folder remains where it is, marked as 'read' but not moved to an archive as the 'Read' filter would do *if* it had been triggered correctly. Marking the last message in a folder as read, by some method other than the space-bar short-cut, results in the 'Read' filter acting correctly. Thanks for your interest and testing. 4.0.16.1: "Dancing" text when using PTV and changing folders
Hello all, I just noticed this today but, as I have verified, it is not new to 4.0.16.1, it also happens with 4.0.14.11. However, not with 3.99.29. I normally don't use PTV but, for some reason, I had left 'Use Plain Text Viewer' selected for the preview pane and, when changing folders, I noticed what I have called 'dancing text'. To see what I mean: http://www.rancho-k.com/TB/Dancing_text.avi It looks like only quoted text is the one that likes dancing, and it seems that only when changing folders and not just when selecting a different message in the same folder. Any confirmations? -- Best regards, Miguel A. Access Violations with 4.0.16.1
After installing 4.0.16.1 I had 2 Access Violation messages. One for Address 9b9b30 and other for B74B53. I frequently had similar messages with Beta Versions of The Bat but ONLY immediately after a fresh installation of a new version of TheBat.exe. Following reboot all is then OK. I suspect this may be a memory management funny relating to residual processes still in memory.
