Hi, The Connection Centre is not closing This appears to be due to 3 IMAP accounts that I have configured They are staying connected with the status in the Connection Centre of Sleeping (Idle Mode) I guess this is by design: IMAP idle means that the server will notify the client immediatly when new messages arrive, whithout the client having to ask every few minutes. For this, the client has to keep an open connection to the server. The way you describe it looks like the manner in which it is supposed to work exactly. You can however select options to hide it always under View/Show Connection Center /Hide. As far as I can see 4.x disconnects from the IMAP servers and only checks for new mail at specified intervals. This meant that if the Connection Centre was set to Automatically show it would hide automatically after each check As 5.x doesn't appear to disconnect from the IMAP servers anymore (And I can't find a setting to set it to do that after a short Idle time) I guess I will have to set the Control Centre to Hide instead of Automatically, It's no big problem, It just annoys me it being on the task bar all the time. By the way, manual re-thread hasn't worked in any 5.x version I've tried. I reported this (and the non-functional birthday warnings) on February 10 of this year for version .138 and never saw a reply. As there were no confirmations and also no mentions in the change notes that these issues had been fixed I refrained from going to 5.x for some time. On March 10 I wrote another message upon the release of .147 to ask if the re-thread issue had been fixed, but got a confirmation this was not the case. Hello All, I have only just noticed that in some cases in version 5 the filters associated with virtual folders do not capture all of the messages that they should. I have version 4.2.42 and version 5.0.0.151 installed to operate independently, but accessing the same TB files, including the virtual folder filter files. In some cases version 5 filters fewer messages than version 4. The number filtered is consistent in both cases, but different from each other. Despite much experiment here, there seems to be no obvious reason to determine why some are filtered by version 5 and others are not.
