use CPU?

Sadly, prayers unanswered and stability not maintained. I just found TB 
completely unresponsive in the tooltray, terminated, re-ran and I'm back

Thanks, I do use internal PDF viewer and have decades of PDF's inside letters 
in one day. Sorry, can't test 3-3-3-16 again because of that and revert to 
3-3-3 where it works fine. Wait new releases without that bug. 
  
And wait calendar fixes (see my previous letters about that).

Not exactly, it affects PDF viewer (documents are still being rendered in the latest version, but functionality is reduced) and Web browser in RSS feeds (pages could be rendered incorrectly due to missing plugins that require multi-process mode).

The switch says that it "could be unstable on some systems. No PDF viewer", but 
I can still select PDF and DocX tabs and view that attached document. So 
perhaps it's only on unstable systems that the PDF viewer fails.

So - I installed 10.1, which didn't run, downloaded and installed the v103 CEF 
binaries, which also didn't help much.

I think the installation here crumbled when I attempted to enable links to my 
Google Calendar.

Today's access vioalation errors drive me nuts. I do again revert my TB! to 
v10-3-3-3

10.3.3.3 runs for about 3 days but always grinds to a halt, has to be 
terminated with Taskman and it won't work again. It just hangs trying to 
draw the main window.

I can confirm the AV (but I will have to check the address next time it 
happens).
 
I don't use the spell checker, so that is not the culprit.

Repeated Access Violation errors

Hello TB! Users,

I have upgraded to the Halloween Edition. I am now getting repeated Access 
Violation errors when I am editing emails (HTML Editor)

"Access violation at address 017EC5D8 in module 'TheBat.exe'. Read of 
address ."

It is the same message each time. The warnings appear to come in pairs - one 
immediately after the next, then a pause then some more. The errors start 
appearing after some minutes of editing the message and the number of errors 
seems to be related to the length of the email so perhaps spell-checker related?

10.2 HTML editor Access Violation

Hello TBBETA,
 
I often receive this AV when using the PureHTML editor:
 
 

When I click it away, it comes up again. The trick is to hit "enter" to make it 
dgo away, and then save the message as draft into Outbox with the mouse with 
the otehr hand. Can't do both with the mouse, because I am not fast enough. 
Then I can re-open it from the Outbox and continue editing.
 
Happens several times a day. I have not detected a pattern yet. Does anybody 
see the same?

It has happened a couple of times not every time that I get an access vilation 
when I want to save or out into Outbox a reply to an HTML mail.

The only way to get it sent is to change to plaintext. AV attached.

on my machine, when pressing button Clear Formatting in HTML-Editor an
error message is presented.

I can confirm this here, the text color selection has disappeared.
And yes, there is an AV when clicking any button.

I wanted to change to classic menus. So I selected this in Preferences
and tried to exit TB (required for the change) and got this:

Access violation when oprning mail

Dear TBBETA,

I have experienced this for a few versions. I happen sometimes, I cannot point 
my finger on it:





Steps:

Open TB!. I have split view, full-height account list on the left, right top is 
message list, bottom is message preview.

Highlight a message in the message list.

Hit 

Possible outcomes:

1.) Access violation.
2.) Message opens in a new windows (as expected), plus access vilation. 
3.) Message opens normally in new window.

Outcome 3. is what happens most of the time. The access vilations can be 
clicked away, and then I can work normally.

So, not a big issue but a bug I'l like to report here. Can anybody confirm?

After several hours of running, TB! blocked:

Are you using the new version of the AntiSpamSniper? It is known to
make error in the place that you have referred. If the users install
previous version of AntiSpamSniper, there will be no error.

Hello,
I got this error some minutes after start of 5.0.26.16 and OS was running
15 minutes, there was no other app started and I did not got this ever in
5.0.26.x builds.

I have some problem with Wifi connection, so maybe TB is trying to connect
and he can't...

My mistake. I checked the wrong type of filters. It works!

Now, I think I can use the alpha! Still have a problem with "Limit expansion of
columns to [1] levels" not working.

Access violation + colour filters

Hello beta testers. 

I installed the latest alpha and I see some nice things happening. Finally,
syncing works. However, I have got this access violation some time (while TB is
syncing):
