One valid reason is beta-testing.

Angry? Why angry? Thought this was a discussion list. I'm not angry,
 amused yes but not angry.

I'm amused at your methods of discovering bugs that's all, nothing to get
 angry about.

I've no doubt it would if I were to confuse it as much as you seem to.

I'm not questioning the fact of weather TB! should do it or not, I agree
with you that it shouldn't. I just find your behaviour as strange as the
 behaviour of the bug itself.

Right click spell check isn't working by the way... Oh yes, and I er, have no
toolbar while writing this so sending it is going to be in a round about
sort of way... ALT+L is buggered too.

I wasn't actually asking for confirmation however, they did disappear
after the fourth and reappeared the 5th, I didn't have to close TB! down
 to get them back.

I agree it shouldn't happen but, the fact some people just open and then
close things X amount of times just to see what happens is beyond me.

Your supposed to be alpha/beta testing it under normal working conditions,
I can't even begin to imagine what your normal working conditions are :)

I disagree here totaly. TheBat! shouldn't care whether user behavior
is logical or not, but just do what user wants. And if user wants to
reopen 1 000 000 times the editor, TheBat! should to it. where's
the problem?

Again, why keep changing back and forth between editors, pick your editor,
write your message, send it, end of story.

 Here's another bug I found.

Open The Bat, leave it running for 30 minutes, close The Bat.
Open Outlook Express, leave it running for 30 minutes, close it.
Open The Bat and you should find quite a few messages missing.

 Anyone confirm?

Forgive my ignorance but how the hell do you find something like that out?

 Here's a fix for it...

 Start The Bat!
 Create new message.
 Write message.
 Send message.

At least that's the the way I do it!

Who in their right mind would open and close the message editor half a
dozen times just to see how many times it takes to make the toolbars
disappear? Try to get out more :)

Hello Stefan,

Stefan Tanurkov wrote (in ):

> Fixes are made for:

- if you use MicroEd Format > table is still emtpy (I guess table should
be hidden for MicroEd?)

Bug 1: Start TheBat!
create a new message
switch from MicroEd to Plain text (windows)
switch form Plain Text (windows) to HTML/plain
Bug - it stays with the Plain Text (windows) (This only works, if you
don't change the message text during switching)

Bug 2: Start TheBat!
create a new message - close message editor
reply - close the message editor
create a new message - close message editor
reply - close the message editor
create a new message - close message editor
reply
Bug - all toolbars of message editor are disappeared.

Any confirmations?
