Oh, thank you, Gleason, for this cool breath of common sense! We as beta testers do need this post from you to remind us of how much we need patience and understanding as we try to be of help to the programmers. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.5.26 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 Current beta is 3.5.26 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Tony, > it would be helpful to know. I agree, a progress report on the current stage of development would be nice. One week there was 4 or 5 builds, for the past few weeks I've felt like a mushroom. 4 or 5 builds in a week doesn't give much time for fixing things in any of them. Trouble shooting software doesn't go that fast. People always wonder why programmers don't just knock the code out and get it done. A professor I had one time said that programming is always a situation of it doesn't work and you don't know how to fix it. So you try things and wonder and tinker. In good time the solution appears. Good time is not the same thing is scheduled time. I am glad to see RIT taking some time to work on the program a little. Maybe we will have a long list of real fixes this time. -- Gleason Using The Bat! v3.5.26 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Primarily using the Fastmail IMAP server which uses Cyrus. Ritlabs might be thinking to put out version 4.0 of TB, but I won't be one of their customers - regardless of any discount less than 100% - unless they first give me the working version of OTFE that I paid for with 3.0 Pro combined with an unbroken Connection Centre. If that means leaving this tbbeta forum and maybe migrating to another email client (or just reverting to an older, more stable version of TB), then so be it. -- Avi Yashar Windows XP Pro SP2 and The Bat! Checking to see where we are?
I'm checking to see where we are at this time. Are we still in a Beta testing phase or just dealing with post fixes from the latest release?
