Commandline Options not working (was: The Bat! 3.81.05 Beta is now available)

2006-07-06 Thread Martin Schuster
Hello 9Val,

 Syntax of /Add command line switch:

 Thebat.exe /ADD:arg1=value1;arg2=”value2”;…;argN=”valueN”

Sorry to say that does not work at all here. I tried this commandline
to modify my account negg:

thebat.exe /ADD:U=negg;FromName=TEST;AutoCheck=1

Neither From Name nor AutoCheck was changed in any way. Did I get
something wrong here? Please help ;-)

Ooops, it is my fault :) Actually it was error in syntax description,
it should be used without ':'
/ADDU=something;FromName=...

BTW, now it is corrected to work with ':' too.

Sorry 9val, but I don't get it. I tried:

   thebat.exe /ADDU=negg;AutoCheck=1;CheckOnActivate=1

...works fine! Both are activated now. But:

   thebat.exe /ADDU=negg;AutoCheck=0;CheckOnActivate=0

to deactivate them again does not work. I tried:

AutoCheck=0
AutoCheck=
AutoCheck=false
AutoCheck=

...none of them works. Please help once more!

Confirmed... Checking works, unchecking not.
