Ctrl-Backspace in MicroEd
Hi Tbbeta, After having used the Plain Text(Windows)-editor for years, I wanted to try out MicroEd again to see what the changes are. It appears that the same problem that annoyed me years ago still persists: When I Press Ctrl-Delete a few times to delete some words, I can only delete until I reach the beginning of a line. There I can keep pressing Ctrl-Del as often as I want, the cursor doesn't move, it doesn't bring me up to the previous line to delete the previous word. I have to release the Ctrl button, press Backspace to get to the line above, and then continue deleting words with Ctrl-Del. If you're used to deleting a few words in a row with Ctrl-Del, this is really annoying, because every time you reach the beginning of a line, Ctrl-Del stops working. In the Windows editor everything works fine. Is there a workaround or is this just not bothering anyone else? -- Best regards, Carsten Current beta is 4.0.7 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
