Just reading this thread gave me the hint to have a look at the
settings in Options/Preferences/MailTicker.

I had been having an annoying discrepancy between the new messages
count on the MailTicker and the count on the Account/Folder tree. Even
more bothersome, the new messages in those folders were not available
from the MailTicker.

This had been going on through the last several betas, so I kept
watching to see if someone would report it. Was suspecting it must be
local to me.

And it was! At some installation, the
Options/Preferences/MailTicker/folder preferences got changed. I don't
even remember that folder-options button before, as a matter of fact.

Anyway, I told it to "Select All" and all is now well.

Same here, thought it was my fault that time. Some of the formerly
watched folders somehow disappeared from the list some time ago.

Good to know I am not alone ;-)
