Ditto! :o) Now I have a lot of work to do, eliminating all my redundant
AB entries where the person has more than one address.

Hei,

Allie, don't know what to say. You changed my life. Until this screenshot,
I didn't know that it's possible to show the email addresses beside the
names and that this has something to do with the settings in the address
book. I have loads of addresses where have identical names, but different
addresses. I always had to change the names or have a guess which one
would be the correct one.

Whow, this is a good day. And if that window could be resized... and it's
settings (size of the columns) independent of the ones of the address
book.

  :-o Thanks for the 'png'.

That did clarify that we are on the same page. I just
never took the next step of enlarging the left window in
the dialogue [which I can] or enlarging the size of the
  entire dialogue [which I cannot].

  We're in the same boat.

You are suggesting that this dialogue replicate the
resizing possibilities of the AB -- definitely a good
  idea.

I guess it's time for a screenshot. :-)

The screenshot shows the window which I'm referring to. Notice how
I've increased the size of the left sub-window to show the e-mail
address as well. I'd love to now increase the size of the whole window
so that I can increase the size of the right sub-window. I had done
this some time ago with a previous version. I can't do it now.

Thanks, Allie. I'm not sure what you are referring to when
  you say 'subwindow'.

I can expand the AB. That I use, having widened the
display to include columns in addition to the email
  address.

I thought we were talking about the the dialogue that
appears as the result of clicking the down triangle next
to the AB in a msg window. If that's so, then my comment
still stands. If that's not so, I'm totally confused about
what we are talking about in this thread. ?...?

Are you still referring to the dialogue that opens from
the down triangle/arrow next to the AB icon in a msg
  window?

Yes, I use this mostly, too.

Yes, it is. I see now that we're talking about two different windows,
but I can't resize the popup from the address book icon in the To:
