I have nearly got to thew bottom of this. 'Test Filters' ignores whether the filter is Incoming, Outgoing or even Active! (I suspect also Read and Replied are ignored) so all filters types are applied for the test. I have Incoming and Outgoing filters of the same name to store complete conversations in the same folder. This lead me to report the filter error. I still have a filtering problem but now cannot test the action of filters in the same circumstances that TB does when new messages arrive.
