Re: Voyager 64bit
Hi Stefan, I installed the test version this morning, re-enabled HTML rendering in the preview window, and haven't had a rendering-releated crash so far. I tested on messages that reliably crashed Voyager on Friday and they did not cause a crash. I did get a crash when I switched themes from Automatic to Classic. After restarting Voyager once more I was able to switch to the Classic theme without a crash. I'll run with this version for the next few days and let you know what happens. These are my email settings for that account in TB: Mail server: imap.gmail.com User: myn...@my.domain.it Authentication: OAUTH (using web browser) Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS) - Port 993 SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com Authentication: Perform SMTP authentication Same user/password as for mail retrieval Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS) - Port 465 The last Voyager working version with that account is 8.2.4.3. Thank you. Oh no. Again! This time the Oauth process stops after accepting the password, when asking that The Bat would like to read and send email, view contacts etc. Now these are the possibilities (sorry if the English button labels are different, I'm translating from the Italian version): - The "Accept" button seems to work but the same request keeps on coming again and again, I'm not getting anywhere by pressing it repeatedly. - The "Refuse" button works, the response is correct ("You denyed access to the application"), but from here I can't go anywhere, because... - The "Cancel" button is available but it always brings me back me to the permission request. - The close window button [X] on the upper right corner of the window works, but it brings me back to the Google "choose account to login" request. From here the cancel button works, and it loops back to the same request. - The Ok button is never available, in any of the above situations (always grayed out) My only possibility to keep on working with email is to kill the Voyager process with Windows Task Manager and downgrade, reinstalling version 8.2.4.3. This is getting weird. -- Luca - e-mail: p.stevens at libero.it Current beta is 8.5.4.4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Re: Voyager migratng help
Hello Nick, I got the following from Nick Danger some time ago. = - There is a tokenact.dat file in the MAIL subfolder, that is specific for the drive Voyager is installed on. Make a copy of it with tokenact_usb.dat name in the same dir (copy somewhere else first, rename it, move back). - Copy the Voyager dir from your USB drive to the PC. - Start Voyager and activate it again. - Now make a copy of the current tokenact.dat file in the MAIL subfolder with tokenact_PC.dat name in the same dir (copy somewhere else first, rename it, move back). - At this point you have tokenact.dat, tokenact_usb.dat, tokenact_PC.dat in the MAIL subfolder. Use Voyager. If you travel, just copy the whole Voyager onto the USB stick, delete the tokenact.dat file, copy the tokenact_usb.dat as tokenact.dat into the MAIL and you are ready to use it. After the travel, just copy the whole Voyager from the USB stick onto the PC, delete the tokenact.dat file, copy the tokenact_PC.dat as tokenact.dat into the MAIL and you are ready to use it. I think, you get the idea. I do this, except that I shuttle the same Voyager between my 14 laptop (used at home), my 7 laptop (longer travel) and the USB stick (short travel) :) = Hope this helps, Regards Hamish Saturday, March 28, 2009, 5:13:11 PM, you wrote: ND Hello List, ND Here's one of those things that I recall reading about, thought Gee, ND that sound useful, but at the time I didn't have any need for it and ND the info has since slid out of my head.
