You simply can't change background colors for the whole program.

I'd highly prefer, like the themes which gives some smaller layout changes,
layout templates for the whole program.

 On the Windows Control Panel.

Aah... understood.
So there's no TB option to configure the color layout for all parts. The
folder tree is not configurable here and the background outside the message
list fields can't either.
That is pity.

But I think it might be idle to propose the development team to care for
better layout options, because I don't expect that to be honored. Who else,
except me would like that.
