Re[2]: IMAP folder sync

Hi Roelof,

Hallo Simon,

On Wed, 14 Mar 2012 17:41:06 +GMT (14-3-2012, 18:41 , where I
live), you wrote:

SM I did some tidying up using my other mail client, some IMAP folders
SM changed name, some were erased, some were changed from one subfolder to
SM another, however I can't seem to make The Bat! resynchronise the
SM folder list.

Account - Properties - IMAP commands - Manage IMAP folders

That's what I do, and I can only get a merged list between what was and
what now is. There is no indication of what folders really exist.

I have to have both clients open to see what folders really exist and
manually edit the folder list. Is there no way to do this automatically?

Regards.

Do old folders disappear after pressing Refresh list in the context
menu in Manage IMAP folders? If they don't, that means your other
client didn't really delete them.

I connected to the IMAP server via ssh and had a look at the Maildir.
The folders have gone.

I have just restarted The Bat!, opened the Manage IMAP folders
dialogue, and I see all the old folders.

I now selected Refresh list from the context menu and nothing
happens. I have the Connection Centre open and I don't see anything
happen there either.

Regards.
