I like the eudora option to just download the headers after which you
can (off-line) specify what you want to do with it during the next
download

It's not really that bad.

The message is MOST probably still on the server - just press
Shift+Ctrl+F2 and Bat will give you a list of all mail on the server,
with an option to download or delete specific messages.
However, there is a bug in there. Even if you choose to deliberately
download this 1MB mail, Bat won't download it and again will just
create a "mail too big" message. So, you have to turn the size limit
OFF, then download this big message with the mail dispatcher, and then
turn the limit back on. Now that IS a bug.
