Some of my accounts had longer names, so there was not enough space on the status bar and the field disappeared if I chose MicroEd. It's definitly not a good solution, because a) this field disappears when the window is too small, even though this is not the right-most field, so the user gets surprised. b) Whether the field gets displayed or not depends on what format you chose, because it seems that more space is required for displaying "Plain text (MicroEd)" than for displaying e.g. "HTML Only". This is very confusing for the user. Either the field should be there are not, but not depending on what you select in it. For my personally it's ok now that I know it, though.
