v5 autoconfig

2010-08-03 Thread Alto Speckhardt
Hi,

just a thought:

Will the v5 version of TheBat provide any features to create an
account from a template? A solution would be to save an account to a
ASCII file, which could be edited and imported via command line on
the same or another machine to create a new account.

Are there any features to facilitate this in the new version?

How about mangement per Group Policy? For example, it would be very
beneficial to provide a Adress Book to all users on all machines by
defining it just once.

If this is still not nativly included, will it be possible to write a
plugin to that effect? Will plugins be able to access TheBat
configuration?

No, we are currently working on the new IMAP and fixing bugs. BTW, there are
more than 70 bugs at the bugtracker marked as verify wait. If the TBBETA
subscribers will confirm that they are fixed, I'd be grateful. I may send the
latest alfa for the persons who will be willing to test these bugs.
